I exhibited new works at the annual JordanCon convention in Atlanta, Georgia, April 21 -23, 2023. Amongst the new works I included new paintings from my Space Windows Series. These are paintings meant to be windows looking out on space as if you are traveling visiting far away moons and planets. They started with Earth and our moon and now the reach far into the Galaxies. You can see more of these when you browse my series selection. Coming soon.

I had just received The Chesley Award for my painting “The Raven, the Wolf and the Maiden”. I went in depth on the inspiration behind the painting and the other pieces in the Red Riding Hood series. The National Association of Women Artists Grand Visions: We Are Here Grand Central Library, NYPL 135 East 46th Street, New York, NY 10017 Group Show. March 1st – September 2020. This exhibit was originally intended to end in May, but due to Covid all public buildings were closed indefinitely. I was actually worried I would never see my painting again. “Seasons of Wither” was painted in 1988. In 2018 I restored the work and repainted parts of it. The work is about global warming and the ensuing complications and dangers it poses for humanity. I found it profound that this painting made its way to New York during a Global pandemic.
The National Association of Women Artists • 131st Annual Member’s Exhibit • October 1 – December 20, 2020. This was an online exhibit only due to the Covid outbreak.
I was very honored to be featured in the 2020 December issue of Utopia Magazine. Tristan Evarts asked me some very interesting questions about my work in Science Fiction and Fantasy publishing, my influences, and my current works. Utopia magazine has become one of the premiere magazines in the Science Fiction and Fantasy Genre. Thanks again Tristan.
